Will my sony vegas saved files and regular video files be removed if If I run a 'deep scare scan'?

My dad wants to run some deep care scan on my laptop and make it go faster. I don't want to lose all of my videos. Does anyone know if I will lose all my videos because the scan may think it's ' old junk'?
